An estimated 4 to 5 million concussions occur annually with some of the biggest increases being seen among middle school athletes. At Benefis Sports Medicine we are Central Montana’s only credentialed ImPACT Consultant. Immediate Post-concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing – or ImPACT – is utilized by sports medicine professionals across the country to aid in the diagnosis and management of concussions.
Concussions can occur in any sport. The ImPACT concussion test is for athletes at any level: professional, college, high school, junior high or grade school. Recognition and proper management of concussions when they first occur can help prevent further injury.
Located at Benefis Injury Center, we are the area experts in concussion management! By offering ImPACT concussion testing and management we can manage concussions on an individualized basis. This type of concussion assessment can help objectively evaluate the concussed athlete’s post-injury condition and track recovery for a safe return to play.
