Affiliations/Partners

SCI has developed partnership programs with Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) at the University of Utah and McLaughlin Research Institute in Great Falls.

HCI is a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center, acclaimed for their high standards and recognized for their scientific excellence and world-class research program. Teaming up with HCI will give us greater access to breakthrough cancer research, as well as to their clinical oncology services and programs, clinical trials, genetic counseling and research, cancer learning center, screening and educational programs and tele-oncology capabilities. This alliance allows us to do even more to bring the next generation of cancer care to patients right here in their own backyard.

Partnering with McLaughlin Research Institute, a private, non-profit biomedical research center, enables medical staff and basic scientists to pursue their research right here in Montana so that we can integrate new discoveries into our clinical Care

San Diego CyberKnife Centers

The Sletten Cancer Institute and the San Diego CyberKnife Center are working together to bring a new CyberKnife prostate clinical trial to Montana and surrounding states. This trial offers prostate patients a new alternative to surgery, and traditional radiotherapy which typically takes up to 8 weeks.
