The Sletten Cancer Institute Café is open for lunch each day. Stop by and enjoy a cup of coffee and a wide variety of pastries, sandwiches, salads, and more.

Cancer Resource Center

SCI's Resource Center is a valuable source of cancer education and information. Our resource center specialist can help guide you through a complete library of cancer related books, videos, DVDs, brochures and on-line resources to help you find answers to any cancer related questions. There's even a Kid's Korner to help educate children who live with cancer in their families.

The Resource Center is open from 8 a.m. -5 p.m., Monday - Friday, and is open to the Public. For more information please call 731-8225.

Healing Garden

In the center of the Cancer Institute is the Healing Garden, featuring a water fountain, natural light, and a player piano. The Garden was designed to provide hope and healing to the mind and spirit of our cancer patients and their families.

Hope Education Center

Knowledge is power! Our Hope Education and conference center hosts a wide range of community and patient education programs and classes including support groups, cancer patient fitness/exercise and Yoga to name a few. The Education Center also has the latest conference capabilities for professional cancer conferences including video conferencing (telemeditive) sound system and UD screen projector

Medical Oncology

Medical Oncologists are doctors who specialize in treating cancer patients. At the SCI our medical oncologists are dedicated to finding better ways to detect and treat cancer every day. We deliver traditional forms of cancer therapy (chemotherapy, hormonal treatments and biologic therapies) and we also actively participate in clinical trials.

Meditation Room

The Meditation Room, located at the north end of the Healing Garden, is available as a quiet space for reflection, meditation, or prayer for all of our visitors.

Chaplain services are available for individuals who would like additional spiritual support.

Pathway to Gift of Life Family Housing

We have two facilities in Great Falls that provide free housing to cancer patients and their families. Housing units are fully furnished with all of the comforts of home. RV hookups are also available. The Gift of Life is supported by charitable donation to the Benefis Healthcare Foundation.

Radiation Oncology

SCI has one of the most technologically sophisticated programs in the entire Northwest. The next generation of radiation equipment is already here. Including Cyberknife Stereotactic Radiosurgery, this offers renewed hope to patients with tumors that were previously thought to be inoperable.

Reflections Salon & Image Center

Cancer patients face many challenges including the effects of the disease and its treatment on their appearance. Skin changes, hair loss and the need for prosthesis are among the most difficult to cope with. The Sletten Image Center, managed by Spectrum Medical, Inc., provides a full service salon, wigs, head covers, massage services, and bra and prosthesis fittings. The philosophy behind the Image Center is to promote well-being for that experiencing cancer treatment. Assistance is available for those who cannot afford the services.

Solarium

Just off the chemotherapy infusion center (in each medical oncology office) is a solarium with both indoor and outdoor gardens where cancer patients and their families can be together in mutual support.
