Camp Mak-A-Dream
Camp Mak-A-Dream offers cost-free camps for children and young adults with cancer. It is located in western Montana and currently has openings for its summer sessions. Camp Mak-a-Dream is owned and operated by the Children's Oncology Camp Foundation which is a non-profit, 501(c) organization with the mission of providing an appropriately supervised, cost-free camp program to children and young adults with cancer. In addition to its kids programs, Camp-Make-A-Dream also offers adult cancer retreats each fall.
The facility, which is located approximately 60 miles east of Missoula in Gold Creek, sits at the base of the Flint and Pintler mountains along the Clark Fork River. Their goal is to serve as many Montana children and young adults as possible, so it you know of someone who might benefit from a week of education, recreation, inspirational activities and interaction with peers, please contact them for further information.
