Each year, we celebrate the joy of giving with Mayfaire, Benefis Foundation's signature fundraising event for the past 24 years.

Mayfaire 2023 Donors Give Generously for Sletten Cancer Institute

Benefis Foundation is thrilled to announce that Mayfaire 2023 raised an incredible $925,000 for renovating Benefis Sletten Cancer Institute.

PLUS, donors' generosity Saturday night allowed the Foundation to swiftly meet a $300,000 match from the Otto Bremer Trust - doubling the first contributions in the paddle raise.

Thank you to everyone who took part in Mayfaire 2023, which would not be possible without volunteers.

Sixty-nine golf teams, some very soggy with Friday's rain, saw the Mayfaire Cup go to Blue Cross Blue Shield No. 2. Thank you to our golfers and golf volunteers.

Donor support built the Benefis Sletten Cancer Institute in 2005 to provide the best in comprehensive cancer care for the people of northcentral Montana. We came together to light the way, providing hope, comfort, and state-of-the art healing.

Since the institute opened, the needs of the newest generation of cancer patients include more space for infusions, an expanded pharmacy for customized drug therapies, expanded genetic counseling, and other services.

With last year's event, also benefiting SCI, Mayfaire has raised more than $2 million for the SCI revisioning in just two years.

Last year's Mayfaire and additional generous contributions supported phase one renovations – a teaching kitchen, expanded genetic counseling, and other services. The new spaces debuted last week, and we encourage you to check them out.

Phase two will focus on the infusion space and pharmacy to improving the treatment experience for patients and their loved ones.

Because of this outpouring of support, our friends, family, and neighbors who will walk through Sletten Cancer Institute's doors seeking hope and healing will continue to find cutting-edge care in a beautiful environment. This truly will make an impact across generations.

The heart of the institute’s philosophy is that no one should have to walk alone in darkness on their cancer journey. A caring staff, compassionate physicians, support groups, a warm community of donors and survivors, and a welcoming atmosphere are all part of easing the experience for our friends and neighbors across the region after their cancer diagnosis.

We ask you to join us in lighting the path. Click here to donate today.
