Thanks for being the best helpers

The Benefis Peace Hospice Children’s Bereavement Program gives grieving children the remarkable gifts of hope, joy, and healing after the loss of a loved one. Programs include therapeutic camps, retreats, support groups, and special events – all are completely free.

  • Children’s Support Group. The Children’s Support Group, for children ages 5 through 12, is a series of evening activity sessions that provide emotional support.
  • Camp Francis. The five-day camp held in the mountains near Monarch helps children ages 7 to 12 express their loss through music, art, games, and crafts.
  • T.A.G. (Talking About Grief). A teen grief support group, T.A.G. sessions are held in Great Falls public high schools within the CARE Program. Teens learn about reactions to grief, share learnings, and get peer support.
  • Darcy's Hope Teen Retreat. Teens ages 13 to 18 connect with peers who have also experienced loss. Trained facilitators help teens find ways to cope.
  • A Remembrance Christmas Party. This is a celebration for children and their families who took part in our bereavement programs during the year. Guests enjoy art and music activities and end the evening with a small memorial service for their loved one.

“Thanks for helping me with my feelings and being the best of helpers.”
