Jim Simmons: ‘You Can Make Such an Impact’ on Foundation Board

As his treasured grandchildren were welcomed into the world at Benefis Health System, Jim Simmons gained a deeper appreciation for the profound happenings here.

We’re grateful to Jim, general manager of National Laundry Co., for his nine years of service on the Benefis Foundation board, for his enthusiastic support of the annual Mayfaire fundraiser, and for his interest in how the hospital works, and in the small and large ways donors improve the region.

“Huge projects have gotten done with the Foundation: The Women’s and Children’s Center, which takes on extra meaning to me with my growing family; improving Sletten Cancer Institute; expanding the Emergency Department; and next the Healthy Aging Center,” Jim said. “With my parents aging, I can see the huge need for that in our town.”

Jim recommended the next folks to join the board, “Just make the time. You have such a big impact on the community, not just Great Falls but beyond. You can make such an impact for the community.”
