Donors Rise to Challenge of Meeting Unseen Needs
See a need? We’d love to talk about your ideas.

Donors’ recent generosity upgrading infusion chairs at Sletten Cancer Institute inspired Nancy Rebal Loncki to
consider what she could do for a small infusion suite on the other side of East Campus.
“As I was sitting here, I thought, ‘There have been a lot of butts in these chairs over the years,’ and I thought
some of them needed updating,” she said. “They get a lot of use. Some people are in and out quickly, but
some of us are long-term folks.”
Treating her rare Stiff Person Syndrome means Nancy spends hours monthly in the infusion chairs in Medical Office Building 4. She donated the cost of two infusion chairs to Benefis Foundation in honor of the employees who care for infusion patients like her.
“It’s easy to overlook small specialty areas such as the infusion suite. My goal was to shine a light on outstanding Benefis employees who provide essential services to patients like me. They are truly caring, considerate, and compassionate,” she said. “I am grateful to Benefis Foundation for giving me the opportunity.”
Your generosity is an investment in better experiences for patients during challenging moments.
