Benefis Health Session - Healthy Hearts: It's Never Too Late to Start

6:00 PM -  7:00 PM

Event Details

Advances in controlling cardiovascular risk factor, improvement in the detection and treatment of heart disease and public health efforts have played a significant role in the steady decline in mortality from cardiac related deaths. Despite this success, heart disease is still the leading cause of death in Montana and the U.S.

Join us for an educational event presented by Benefis Health System's Interventional Cardiologist, Dr. Mirslaw Sochanski, and Cardiovascular Surgeon, Dr. Steven Bailey.

Speakers will discuss the importance of nutrition and exercise in primary and secondary prevention of heart disease and also highlight several new services being offered by the Benefis Heart and Vascular team for the treatment of varicose veins.

The event will be held in the Cameron Auditorium on Benefis East Campus. It is free and open to the public!
