Introduction
Dr. Lea Gorsuch found her path in medical school when she realized all the “interesting” cases were sent to orthopedics. She followed those, and as they say, the rest is history.
As a hand surgeon, Dr. Gorsuch works closely with patients to help restore function and reduce pain so that they can enjoy their favorite activities. “Seeing a good result from surgery” is always a driving force in her career, she says.
In order to get to those results, she stays focused on her patients during appointments. It’s simple behaviors, she notes, that can help build strong relationships. “I try to avoid typing on the computer while I’m engaging with a patient.”
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Gorsuch enjoys target shooting and has completed a Gunsite Academy pistol course.
