Introduction
Dr. Paul Miller is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in treating conditions of the spine.
His care philosophy is holistic, and he believes in educating his patients so they can help make their own informed decisions. “Don’t be afraid to ask questions about your health. If you don’t ask, you will never know if something can be done to help you,” he advises.
Dr. Miller’s favorite part of his job is seeing his patients return to the activities they love but were previously unable to do for a period of time because of illness or injury.
From a young age, Dr. Miller was inspired to consider a career in medicine by his father, who was also a doctor. “I had many inspirations and life events that took me down this road, but some of my earliest were having my father’s patients show up at our house and watching him take the time to treat them, even in our living room.”
In his downtime, Dr. Miller engages in a variety of outdoor activities including camping, hunting, fishing, and mountain bike riding. He also enjoys woodworking, football, golf, and restoring muscle cars. He used to be a diesel mechanic and worked as one throughout college.
