Introduction
Empathy is at the center of every interaction between Dr. Tan Truong and the hospitalized patients he cares for, along with their families. By looking at situations from his patients’ point of view, Dr. Truong can effectively communicate with everyone involved and prevent unnecessary suffering.
“I am with my patients every step of the way,” Dr. Truong says. “I know from personal experience how frustrating it is to be kept out of the loop when a family member is ill. A difficult time is made worse when family and patients are left out.”
Dr. Truong is from Canada and enjoys cooking and trying new foods, playing guitar, snowboarding, watching movies, and discovering new music.
