Introduction
Dr. Myriam Lacerte is a fellowship-trained physical rehabilitation physician who helps patients restore functional ability that may have been lost due to injury, illness, or disability. She has seen how family involvement positively impacts her patients’ rehabilitation, so she encourages their involvement as soon as possible to set her patients up for successful treatment.
Dr. Lacerte’s warmth and humor help her patients through their rehabilitation, and she’s determined to help each of her patients feel empowered when they leave her team’s care. “I want patients to leave our care feeling hopeful and trusting in themselves, and that they can keep going on their own.”
Dr. Lacerte grew up in Quebec, Canada, and she enjoys hiking, playing basketball, camping, skiing, and fishing.
