Introduction
Jessica Boso is a nurse practitioner in the Neurology Department. A graduate of Walsh University, she completed a neurological clinical rotation with Dr. Walter Lajara-Nanson and embraces the unique challenges of the specialty.
One of Jessica’s first introductions into the medical field was as a commercial diver. Trained as a diver medic, she first learned to conduct neurological exams to assess for decompression sickness. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Jessica worked as a nurse and became certified in critical care. At Benefis, she worked in the Intensive Care Unit and Patient Flow, which allowed for her to gain experience on multiple floors throughout the hospital.
Jessica’s passion for neurology also stems from having a mother with multiple sclerosis (MS). This has allowed for her to compassionately understand the burdens and challenges of caregivers and patients living with chronic, debilitating conditions.
In her leisure time, Jessica enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling abroad, and pursuing other adventures with her husband and her English Mastiff.
