Introduction

Dr. Carly Gysler is a pediatric psychologist who works creatively and in collaboration with families and care teams.

She specializes in early childhood behaviors such as tantrums, picky eating, sleep, and potty training, as well as tics and Tourette syndrome. She also specializes in psychological assessment and integrated primary care behavioral health.

“You learn so much from kids who think differently,” she said. “I love working with teens and littles. That’s when they’re the most honest and tell you what’s helpful to know.”

When she introduces herself, Dr. Gysler explains that we all have sticky spots. These are different for people and change over time, and her job is to help find easier ways through and ways around these sticky spots.

“I’m in the field at a perfect time as more people recognize behavioral health is part of overall health. Behavior underlies everything we do, and that makes my job super cool,” she said. “I can really help make connections for people.”

Dr. Gysler always wanted to work with children and saw a gap in Montana that she could help fill as a psychologist.

Dr. Gysler is a foodie. For fun, she enjoys snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and making memories with her family at their Seeley Lake cabin. Her husband is also from Great Falls.
