Introduction
Karen Braseth is a nurse practitioner who provides care for patients of all ages at Benefis Teton Medical Center. She has had a passion for providing care at community hospitals since the time she was “accidentally” assigned to volunteer at one early in her career and found her calling.
Karen started her medical career in the microbiology lab but developed a strong interest in patient care. From there she moved into nursing, providing care at both a small community hospital and a large academic medical center.
Karen is excited to offer well-rounded patient care in a community hospital setting that offers access to cutting-edge technology.
“You get to know the community,” she says. “I’m eager to combine my medical and nursing knowledge of patient needs and priorities to help my patients develop a workable plan for better health.”
In her free time, Karen enjoys running and walking for exercise. She is thrilled to try winter sports for the first time as a transplant from Florida. Snowshoeing and cross-county skiing are at the top of her list. Karen also has a passion for historic preservation and looks forward to exploring historic homes and buildings across Montana.
