Introduction
Jamie Helton is a licensed clinical professional counselor candidate who has experience counseling both couples and individuals as they address mental health disorders and other concerns.
She is passionate about helping clients develop positive coping skills, especially as they process trauma.
“It’s inspiring to be able to offer tools a client can use, utilize, build upon, and see results in the future,” Jamie says.
Compassion is a cornerstone of her practice, and Jamie strives to introduce positive experiences to her clients.
“I want them to know they are not alone,” she adds. “It’s important that my clients feel safe and supported, regardless of their histories.”
In her free time, Jamie enjoys outdoor activities like kayaking and hiking. She also loves to read and write.
“Spending time with family is self-care for me,” she says.
