Introduction
Dr. Emilie Jacobsen is a dermatologist who also specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery, an outpatient surgical treatment for skin cancer that has the highest cure rate and allows patients to keep as much healthy skin as possible.
Dr. Jacobsen decided to follow in the footsteps of her grandfather, an internal medicine physician in Great Falls, however, the inspiration to specialize in dermatology came from her grandmother, who was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of skin cancer. Dr. Jacobsen witnessed firsthand the excellent care her grandmother received over the years.
In her own practice, Dr. Jacobsen strives to build a collaborative relationship with her patients, ensuring they understand all of their treatment options.
“I want to help them decide what will work best in their situation,” she says. “I want my patients to feel confident that we will move forward along the best path.”
In her free time, Dr. Jacobsen enjoys hiking, exercising, and is looking forward to exploring new hobbies. She is thrilled to be back home in the Great Falls area near family and friends.
