Introduction
Necia Tierney is a family nurse practitioner with experience caring for patients of all ages. She is passionate about educating her patients and building relationships.
“Every patient is different. I want to get to know them personally to build trust,” she says. “I want to help them know as much as they can about their diagnosis and the ‘whys’ behind it so they can understand their options and have buy-in during the decision-making process.”
Necia was inspired to pursue a career in medicine after watching teams of healthcare professionals care for a loved one following a stroke. She has cared for many Benefis patients over the years as a certified nursing assistant and registered nurse.
In her free time, Necia prioritizes spending time with her family. They keep her busy with sporting events and other activities, but they find time to enjoy Montana’s outdoor opportunities — especially on the water during the summer months.
