Introduction
Meghan McGrath is a nurse practitioner who specializes in cancer care. Meghan has a decade of experience in oncology nursing at Benefis Health System, along with experience in the Emergency Department and as a certified vascular access specialist.
Meghan was inspired by the team of oncology nurses who cared for her mother after she was diagnosed with breast cancer while Meghan was in college.
For Meghan, treating patients includes celebrating victories during their cancer journey — both big and small. She is inspired to help her patients live their lives to the fullest, whether that’s pursuing survivorship, enjoying a favorite food, or attending a grandchild’s soccer game.
“My job is to listen to my patients and allow them to guide me when it comes to their ultimate goals for their care,” she says. “Then we develop a plan to facilitate those goals.”
In her free time, Meghan prioritizes time with her family. They enjoy outdoor activities like camping and hunting. Meghan was raised in Great Falls and loves watching family members play football or supply snacks for a viewing party at home. She also likes to read for fun — when she has time.
