Introduction
Dr. Karen Koch is a physician with more than 20 years of experience who treats adults and teens. Dr. Koch is especially passionate about women’s healthcare, and she has extensive experience in a rural healthcare setting.
For Dr. Koch, practicing medicine combines her love of science with her passion for taking care of people. She truly enjoys treating patients at all stages of life, and she embraces the osteopathic mission of treating the whole patient, as there are numerous aspects of well-being that contribute to overall health.
Dr. Koch says she tailors her communication style to each patient so she can find out what is important to them.
“I want my patients to leave their appointments with a thorough understanding of their condition,” she adds. “Being an educator is part of that – ensuring patients know what they need to do and what they can do to improve their health.”
Outside of her practice, Dr. Koch enjoys spending time outdoors. She especially loves walking and hiking with her family and their dog, along with cooking and traveling.
