Introduction
Dr. Gábor Varjú is board-certified in both pulmonary and sleep medicine. His focus in pulmonology includes lung procedures for a variety of conditions, including lung cancer and bronchiectasis.
Dr. Varjú completed his medical degree at Pécs University Medical School in Pécs, Hungary, and then contributed to the research communities in both Hungary and the U.S., including Duke University Medical Center. He completed his residency and fellowship through East Carolina University at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, N.C., and remained there as a staff physician providing on-site care and outreach services until coming to Benefis.
Outside of work, Dr. Varjú enjoys skeet shooting, fishing, and playing soccer.
