Introduction
Kaytlin Deveney is a physician assistant with more than 15 years of experience in the operating room. Kaytlin is passionate about providing comprehensive care to patients with a variety of conditions affecting the spine.
Kaytlin developed an interest in medicine at an early age. She began her career as a nursing assistant before finishing high school, and then became a surgical technologist, spending most of her time working on spine cases. Kaytlin’s interest in the complexity of the spine led her to pursue a role that allows her to care for patients before, during, and after surgery.
“I have the opportunity to share in the full scope of healing — from a patient’s initial visit to a patient’s last post-operative visit,” she says. “It’s a full circle experience for me in my medical career.”
Kaytlin wants her patients to know they will receive her undivided attention during their time together.
“I take the time to listen to my patients, evaluate the situation, and provide education so they can walk away feeling heard and understood,” she says. “I want them to trust that we are on the same team when it comes to their care.”
In her free time, Kaytlin prioritizes spending time with her husband, son, and pup. “A Montana girl through and through,” it’s no surprise that hiking, fishing, mountain biking, and snowboarding are among the family’s favorite activities — bonus points if they catch a beautiful sunrise or sunset in the process.
