Introduction
Cheyenne Feltz is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who cares for adolescents and adults. Cheyenne has experience living and working in a rural setting, where she strives to provide high-quality treatment and care for patients with mental health conditions.
Cheyenne is driven by her desire to improve outcomes for people living in her community. She works to help her patients address barriers to receiving care, especially those unique to a rural area.
“Patients can feel they are at a disadvantage and become overwhelmed,” she says. “I work with each person to develop a personal treatment plan based on their unique goals. I want my patients to feel valued in my care.”
Cheyenne values a team approach when it comes to her patients, emphasizing an integrative behavioral health model that includes a patient’s primary care provider and other members of their healthcare team.
In her free time, Cheyenne enjoys spending time with her family. Hunting, fishing, gardening, and other outdoor pursuits are at the top of the list of favorite activities.
