Introduction
Caitlin Klaassen is a physician assistant who specializes in treating patients with various conditions that cause pain symptoms.
Caitlin was drawn to the technical side of medicine, especially physical medicine, and the opportunity to help improve her patients’ lives.
“When you have a patient who stopped doing the things they loved because of chronic pain, it’s very fulfilling to watch them get back to those activities, whether that’s resuming a sport or outdoor activity, playing with their grandchildren, or taking their dog for a long walk,” she says.
Listening to her patients is the crucial first step during an appointment with Caitlin. She knows that not every treatment method is effective or appropriate for everyone, so she collaborates with her patients to find the ideal solution, providing education and empathy along the way.
In her free time, Caitlin enjoys spending time with family and friends. She and her husband live an active lifestyle and love bringing their dog along for the fun. Caitlin also makes time for her recreational volleyball league and baking.
