Introduction
Dr. Michael Salim is a board-certified and fellowship-trained endocrinologist. He specializes in treating patients with thyroid conditions, diabetes, and osteoporosis.
Dr. Salim developed a passion for practicing medicine at a young age in his home country of Indonesia, where he witnessed the struggles of people with unmet medical needs.
As an endocrinologist, Dr. Salim works with patients who have a variety of symptoms and conditions. He takes the time to talk with each patient about what they want, need, and value most so he can develop a treatment plan that works best for them.
In his free time, Dr. Salim enjoys playing tennis, badminton, and chess. He likes spending time outdoors, and as a former Chicago resident, he is no stranger to windy weather.
