Introduction
Leah Schwandt is a physician assistant who provides same-day care for the whole family. She has experience in both urgent care and family practice settings.
Leah developed an interest in science and helping others at an early age. She traded her toy medical kit for a role in medical research before moving into her career in medicine.
Leah enjoys the fast-paced nature of same-day care, but she takes the time to listen carefully to each of her patients.
“It’s important they feel included in the decision-making process,” she says. “I want them to know they are being heard, and for patients to feel comfortable with me so they can tell me whatever they need to.”
Outside of work, Leah plays the cello with the Great Falls Symphony. She also likes to cook and work in the yard, especially planting flowers.
