Introduction
Vanessa Kohl is a licensed clinical social worker who provides mental health counseling for individuals with a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She also supports clients dealing with trauma, grief, and general life changes.
Additionally, Vanessa holds a sports medicine certificate and helps athletes address various areas of their well-being, along with the mental health challenges that can occur within the competitive sports environment.
Vanessa has always been interested in a healthcare career, and she found that supporting people through their mental health journeys was the best way she could make a difference.
“I strive to hold space for my clients,” she says. “I think it’s important to listen and truly hear people, to make them feel validated in their experiences.”
Outside of her practice, Vanessa prioritizes spending time with family and friends. She loves being outside, checking out local food and coffee shops, and exploring new places.
