Introduction
Ashley Campbell is an acute care nurse practitioner who specializes in caring for patients with cardiac and vascular conditions.
As a member of a “healthcare family,” Ashley’s desire to help others within the world of healthcare was woven into her life at an early age. She began her career as an emergency medical technician before transitioning to nursing. Ashley and her sister moved to Montana to pursue their health careers together, arriving at Benefis just before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Ashley’s experience as an Intensive Care Unit nurse during that time inspired her to pursue her lifelong dream of working with heart and vascular patients as a provider.
“I draw on the core nursing values I developed while at the bedside, and I aim to help my patients understand the active role they play in their healthcare journey,” she says.
Ashley strives to ensure her patients feel heard and leave an outpatient appointment or inpatient stay feeling like their questions were answered. She is especially passionate about working with the elderly and veteran populations.
In her free time, Ashley prioritizes spending time with her family. Skiing, kayaking, and hiking are among their favorite outdoor activities. Fans of the “Yellowstone” and “1923” television shows should look for Ashley as a background performer. She plays a featured background role as a nurse in 1923.
