Introduction

Dr. Connor McCormick is a urologist who cares for patients with a full range of urologic disorders, including benign conditions such as prostate enlargement, kidney stones, incontinence, and erectile dysfunction, and urologic cancers such as prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer. He offers da Vinci robotic surgery and other minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Dr. McCormick started his career as an emergency medical technician and firefighter before attending medical school. During his training, Dr. McCormick discovered a passion for surgery and the unique relationship between surgeons and patients that his specialty affords.

“We see men and women of all ages with problems ranging from life-threatening cancers to really sensitive quality of life issues,” he says. “I have the opportunity to have meaningful long-term relationships with patients, which is somewhat unique among surgical fields.”

Dr. McCormick approaches each patient interaction as if he were caring for the family member of a trusted friend.

“Excellent care is open, kind, and collaborative,” he says. “It’s informed by the best and latest medical science but is personalized and unique to the individual patient and their unique circumstances and needs. Putting those things together is really the joy of being a physician.”

A graduate of Great Falls High School, Dr. McCormick is happy to be home. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, especially running, whitewater paddling, and backcountry skiing. His dog is also happy to be in the mountains and rivers of central Montana.
