Introduction
Amber Close is a nurse practitioner with experience addressing a wide range of health issues across all ages.
A love of science since childhood led Amber to pursue a career in public health research in the areas of health promotion and disease prevention. Her motivation to care for patients directly inspired her career shift.
Amber is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based, safe, and effective interventions for her patients. She knows that timely and available access to care is vital to overall community health.
“I use patient feedback to enhance the care experience for my patients,” she says. “Communicating with each person effectively allows me to understand, educate, and involve my patients in the decision-making process.”
Outside of work, Amber enjoys taking yoga and barre classes, watching movies with her daughters, listening to podcasts, reading, and traveling.
