Ali Marzooq, MD

Introduction

Dr. Ali Marzooq is a double board-certified physician in dermatology and internal medicine. He provides care for patients experiencing a wide range of dermatological conditions, including cases that require surgery.

For Dr. Marzooq, medicine is a family tradition. He was born and raised in Iraq and completed a portion of his medical training there before moving to the United States and completing two residency programs and working with patients in underserved communities.

Listening is the first step in providing excellent patient care for Dr. Marzooq.

“It’s important to me to be humble going in,” he says. “My patients are there looking for answers, and I leave work each day knowing I did my very best to make sure they leave feeling happy about the care they received from me.”

In his free time, Dr. Marzooq is an avid gamer. He also enjoys spending time with his two dogs and has developed the habit of only reading medical literature.
