Introduction
Dr. Daniel Bothwell is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides care for patients starting in adolescence and throughout adulthood.
A career in medicine was a natural fit for Dr. Bothwell, who enjoys the blend of science and humanities. He is especially passionate about getting to the root cause of a patient’s medical condition, gathering evidence, developing a conclusion, and creating a treatment plan.
As a doctor of osteopathic medicine, Dr. Bothwell works to treat the whole person, utilizing osteopathic manipulative medicine — techniques that address functional and structural issues in the body.
“I want to help people live the lives they want to live, preventing problems that might get in the way,” he says. “Sometimes the fastest method of treatment isn’t the best way to achieve an ideal outcome.”
In his free time, Dr. Bothwell enjoys outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and hiking. He kept up with those activities while working in Alaska, but he is excited to return home to Montana.
