Introduction
Dr. John Ellis is a board-certified emergency medicine physician who cares for patients during an emergency visit. He has experience in a wide range of environments, from busy urban emergency departments to resource-limited military environments during his service in the Army Reserve.
Dr. Ellis was drawn to medicine, specifically emergency medicine, because he enjoys the challenge of rapidly diagnosing and treating a wide variety of conditions while bringing order to chaos. He finds the immediate impact he can make for patients and their loved one especially rewarding.
Respect, compassion, and clear communication are important to Dr. Ellis.
“I believe patients deserve not only prompt and skilled medical care, but also to feel heard and understood,” he says.
Outside of work, Dr. Ellis loves spending time outdoors with his family and traveling. He also enjoys staying active through Brazilian jiu-jitsu and strength training.
