Introduction
Summer George is a family nurse practitioner who provides care for patients with a variety of conditions impacting the spine. She also has experience caring for patients with acute injuries in immediate and emergency care settings.
Summer’s longtime love of science inspired her medical career, first in nursing and then as a clinician. The mix of helping patients while “solving” scientific mysteries is especially rewarding for Summer.
Summer’s patients can count on her to be clear, explaining their conditions and treatment options in a way they can understand. Her goal is to establish a partnership based on respect, confidence, and trust.
“I want to make sure my patients are involved in their care,” she says. “I want to help them improve the quality of their lives, and that means knowing my patients’ goals and helping them achieve them.”
In her free time, Summer values time with her family and friends, especially enjoying outdoor activities.
