Introduction
Dr. Darren K. George is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides care for patients in all seasons of life. With more than 30 years of experience, including leadership roles, Dr. George has dedicated his career to providing “full spectrum care for every generation.”
A passion for both science and service led Dr. George to his career in medicine. He chose family medicine because it allows him to focus on the whole person and the understanding that health is a balance of physical, mental, spiritual, and environmental factors, rather than just the absence of disease. He values building long-term relationships with patients and providing a “medical home.”
Dr. George abides by three key principles when it comes to patient care: communication without mystery, respect for a patient’s time, and holistic, proactive health management.
“To me, excellent patient care is defined by partnership and clarity,” he says. “It’s the understanding that while I bring the medical expertise, you bring the expertise on your own life and goals.”
Outside his practice, Dr. George enjoys exploring the Montana backcountry with his wife and their dog. They enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and traveling in their RV. At home, Dr. George enjoys building computers and tinkering with high-performance RC cars. A Maine Coon cat has also joined the family after their move back to Great Falls.
