Introduction
Angela Axmann Grabinger is a family nurse practitioner who provides urgent care for patients with orthopedic injuries or concerns. She also has experience caring for patients in emergency medicine settings.
Angela’s love for athletics and personal experience as a collegiate runner led to her career in exercise science and then medicine. She has a passion for biomechanics, injury prevention and management, and wilderness medicine.
Listening is a cornerstone of Angela’s philosophy as a practitioner.
“Each of my patients is different. They have different backgrounds and goals,” she says. “I work with them to develop a treatment plan that works for them, focusing on an achievable goal. I also try to make every patient smile at least once.”
In her free time, Angela loves spending time outdoors. Her favorite activities include trail running, hiking, camping and exploring, archery hunting, upland hunting with her two springer spaniels, and gardening. Angela was born and raised in Germany before attending college in the United States, where she was a national champion in the steeplechase. She was also a national pro duathlon champion and professional triathlete.
