Introduction
Dr. Jorge Castriz is a fellowship-trained cardiologist who is board-certified in both general and interventional cardiology. He has more than 20 years of experience in coronary angioplasty, stents, acute heart attacks, complex coronary interventions, and pacemakers and defibrillators, along with cardiovascular disease prevention.
Dr. Castriz has always wanted to be a cardiologist. He remembers winning prizes for his childhood science fair projects about the circulatory system and blood-typing. This lifelong passion drives his commitment to providing personalized, high-quality care to every patient he sees.
"I believe in empowering my patients by keeping them informed. The more they understand their heart condition, the better equipped they are to take charge of their own health and recovery," says Dr. Castriz.
Dr. Castriz and his wife are proud to call Great Falls home. They have lived in the community for 14 years and raised their two youngest children here. He enjoys spending his free time hunting, fishing, and playing the guitar. Family is Dr. Castriz’s greatest joy, and he looks forward to every opportunity to visit his five adult children as they pursue their lives across the country.
