Introduction
Baylee Seitz is an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner who cares for patients with complex respiratory conditions. She cared for critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit during the COVID-19 pandemic, which shaped her approach to patient care and strengthened her ability to care for those with complicated medical needs.
Her career in medicine was driven by a desire to support patients and their loved ones during some of life’s most difficult moments. Baylee also has a strong passion for rural medicine. Her family has lived in Montana for five generations, and she believes living in Montana should never limit a person’s access to high-quality care, and she is proud to help bring specialty services to patients closer to home.
Taking the time to listen to each patient and involve them in developing their treatment plan is a cornerstone of Baylee’s medical practice.
“I want to work together toward the goals that are meaningful to them,” she says. “For one person, that may mean attending a grandchild’s graduation. For another, it may mean feeling well enough to participate in a hunting camp or enjoy time with family.”
In her free time, Baylee enjoys spending time with her family, running, and taking full advantage of all Montana has to offer such as hiking and riding horses.
