Introduction
Carrie Powell is a nurse practitioner who specializes in family medicine. As someone who dreamt of being a nurse since she was a girl, Carrie’s philosophy of patient care is to “always do what’s right.” She enjoys working in family medicine because doing so enables her to make a difference in the lives of her patients.
Carrie encourages her patients to be active participants in their health care, taking the time to educate themselves and ask questions of their providers. If there’s something a patient or family member doesn’t understand about a diagnosis or treatment, take the time to ask your provider for clarification.
Outside of the office, Carrie enjoys spending time with her family.
