Introduction

Dr. Chase Dukes is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in sports medicine. He performs a variety of cutting-edge joint replacement and joint preservation procedures, along with ultrasound-guided injections and treatments using biologic therapies.

A native of the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Dukes developed a passion for the water, mountains, and competitive athletics that ultimately led him to a career restoring mobility and performance capability in others.

He completed his residency while on active duty in the military, was deployed to Afghanistan as an orthopedic surgeon, and spent four years in independent practice as a staff orthopedic surgeon in the U.S. Army. During his tenure with the military, he developed an expertise in joint preservation surgery, biologic and cellular-based therapies, and arthroscopic hip preservation techniques. He also established one of the first comprehensive and effective narcotic-free post-operative surgical protocols.

His practice spans the full spectrum of orthopedic care — from arthroscopy to arthroplasty — treating everyone from high-performance athletes to anyone looking to improve their mobility. Dr. Dukes is committed to helping his patients achieve excellent functional outcomes and be as pain-free as possible.

“I want them to get back to doing what they love,” he says. “I am driven by my patients’ success stories. I want them to be happy with the results and feel like they’ve been well taken care of by their provider.”

Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and embracing the Montana outdoor lifestyle through hiking, skiing, fishing, and hunting.
