Introduction
Christopher Merchant is a physician assistant who specializes in orthopedics. Before going back to school to become a PA, he was a physical therapist.
Christopher takes a patient-centered approach to orthopedic care. “I try to treat all patients with honesty and compassion,” he says. “Letting patients know that not everyone is comfortable seeking medical care often helps alleviate their anxiety.”
As a physician assistant, Christopher is passionate about providing comprehensive care to patients – from diagnosis and customized treatment plan to successful recovery. “I love working with the surgeons that I work with,” he says. “Being a part of a team that works together helping people is very rewarding.”
Outside the clinic, Christopher enjoys spending time with his family, boating in the summer and skiing in the winter. He is a self-proclaimed Montana Grizzly Fanatic. Christopher has also earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
