Introduction
Diane Evans, CPNP, is a nurse practitioner with special training in pediatrics. Diane places an emphasis on kid-friendly, family-centered care.
“I enjoy being able to work together with families to make the best decisions for their children,” she says. “We have a lot of fun in our office and try to make each visit an enjoyable interaction.”
Diane gets joy out of working closely with youngsters and their families every day. “I love the smiles and hugs! Working with children when they don’t feel well is unique,” she explains. Diane finds her purpose in putting children and their families at ease during understandably stressful situations. “Making a family feel comfortable with a diagnosis and treatment options, and assuring them that their child is healthy and doing well is very enjoyable.”
As a senior in high school, Diane decided that nursing would be a great fit for her because it would allow her to work with people, have some independence, and be able to use her skills.
In her downtime, Diane enjoys spending time with her husband, Bob and 3 adult boys, and cheering on her home state teams – the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State Nittany Lions– as well as watching wrestling, soccer, and most other sports.
