Introduction
Dr. Dimitrios Koudoumas is a cardiovascular surgeon with experience in all aspects of cardiac, vascular, and endovascular surgery. He has a particular interest in aortic surgery. Dr. Koudoumas also holds a doctorate degree for his research in the cardiovascular field.
Dr. Koudoumas started on his career path at a young age in his home country of Greece. He was inspired to become a cardiovascular surgeon when a close family member survived a heart episode after surgery.
Dr. Koudoumas, after years of extensive training in vascular and cardiothoracic surgery, is now excited to explore a new area of the Mountain West.
Dr. Koudoumas strives to treat each patient like a member of his family, providing comprehensive cardiac and vascular care using cutting edge and state of the art technology while tending to a patient’s individual needs during each step of the treatment process.
Dr. Koudoumas speaks fluent English and Greek. He enjoys spending time with family, traveling, swimming, hiking, snowboarding, and cooking.
