Introduction
Dr. Dustin Stuart is an emergency medicine physician whose care philosophy is “building a relationship of trust in a short time to help each patient find better health.” He is passionate about his career because it allows him to make a difference for people in serious situations.
“I have a unique opportunity to serve and affect the lives of those I encounter – who may be having the worst experience of their lives – for the better,” he says.
As a youngster, Dr. Stuart was inspired by his father to enter the field of emergency medicine.
“My father served as the volunteer fire chief for our small community and I followed in his footsteps into EMS,” explains Dr. Stuart. “I quickly realized I could do more with an education and went to school knowing I wanted to remain in the emergency field.”
Dr. Stuart urges his patients to take a proactive approach to their own health and well-being. “You and your decisions play the biggest role in your own healthcare,” he says.
A self-proclaimed “family man,” Dr. Stuart likes to spend his free time with his kids as well as snowboarding, swimming, playing soccer, and gardening. Road trips are another hobby; he has crossed major portions of the United States 11 times – driving the whole way.
