Introduction
Dylan Powell, PA-C, specializes in emergency medicine and came to Benefis from Cost Care in Helena, Montana. Before becoming a PA in 2010, he gained many years of experience as an EMT, ER tech, EMS flight dispatch, and a physical therapy technician.
Dylan earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, after graduating with his Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance from University of Montana in Missoula.
Born and raised in Montana, Dylan’s love for outdoor activities provides the backdrop to his medical career. During a backpacking excursion, he was injured when a root broke and caused him to fall from a 20-foot cliff. Nobody in his group had first aid training to handle the deep cut on his leg. This experience prompted him to take his initial first aid class, 16 years ago.
Along with his wife and two children, Dylan enjoys fly fishing, hunting, rafting, hiking, and skiing.
