Introduction

Dr. Heather Halko is a pediatric clinical psychologist who specializes in child and family trauma, as well as a broad range of mood, anxiety, and behavioral disorders.

Dr. Halko is passionate about expanding Montanans’ access to evidence-based mental health care, and she uses treatments that have strong research support. She has worked with diverse populations in a variety of treatment settings including outpatient, school-based, therapeutic group home, and inpatient treatment centers.

Dr. Halko says, “I want children and their families to leave my office feeling empowered and capable of managing their emotional wellness so that they can create the lives they want to live.”

Originally from Montana, Dr. Halko enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends. She especially loves hiking, being in the mountains, and nearly anything on the water.
