Introduction
Dr. John Venditti is an anesthesiologist. His first interest in medicine was inspired by the movie “Outbreak.” He originally wanted to be an infectious disease specialist, but that interest shifted to trauma surgery by the time he entered medical school. However, he finally found his true calling when he “saw the anesthesia light” and knew it was the path for him.
As an anesthesiologist, he enjoys the family-like dynamic in the operating room. “We all help each other out and really take pride in the team approach,” he says. “This brings positivity and energy to the OR atmosphere.”
Most of all, appreciates the unique role he has in caring for patients. “I treat all my patients as if they were my friends or family members. I go that extra step when providing care for a patient, and I take care of people the same way I would want to be taken care of if I was under anesthesia,” he says.
When not in the operating room, Dr. Venditti likes to travel the world. He also enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities, including camping, motorcycling, fishing, skiing, and diving. At home, he likes to spend time with his three dogs and cat.
