Introduction
Dr. Joseph Clyde is a radiation oncologist who blends personalized care with cutting-edge technology and a passion for research. He has experience treating nearly all types of cancers using modern radiation techniques, with a special interest in high-dose rate brachytherapy for the treatment of prostate cancer.
Like many in his field, Dr. Clyde chose his medical specialty after several loved ones embarked on their own cancer journeys.
“We all know someone who has been down this road,” he says. “It’s a life-changing diagnosis.”
Dr. Clyde values the hope he can instill in his patients as they weigh the treatment plan options together.
“Patients are scared and anxious,” he adds. “It’s my goal and privilege to ease some of that.”
Dr. Clyde and his family are thrilled to return to the Rocky Mountain area. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and camping with his wife and children. His family is also full of avid readers.
Dr. Clyde uses his passion for making and editing video projects to elevate his home movies, and he and his family were finalists in a short film contest during his medical school days.
