Introduction
Dr. Katherine Zitello is a physician who provides primary care services. She prides herself in approaching each patient with empathy for their unique perspective and values in life.
A passion for science and a volunteer position at a hospital sparked her interest in medicine.
“That’s what made me say, ‘Let’s be a doctor,’” she says. “I really enjoyed the patient interaction.”
For Dr. Zitello, active listening, honesty, and open communication are hallmarks of providing great care. She works to meet patients where they are on their journey to better health.
“I want my patients to leave their appointments feeling heard and ready to make progress toward their health goals,” she explains.
Dr. Zitello draws in empathy and insight when providing care for patients with mental health conditions.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, taking walks, and playing board games.
